Interview The Winner   MEN
Allan MOGENSEN (DEN)

"Just before the first control, mostly downhill, I made a little mistake (about 30''), when I was drifting too much to the left direction. Afterwards, I continued with good concentration and didn't make any mistake till the end of the race. It was quite difficult to keep a high running-level at the beginning of the race."
The 32 year old Allan Mogensen - Worldchampion in 1993 (classic) and World-Park-Tour Champion in 1999 - did not expect to win today, especially, because it was his first race in this year. His target is to be among the best six in the final ranking in the Worldcup 2000. During prize-giving interview, Allen was asked, if he is doing mental training, his answer was: "Not much, I concentrate on map-training!"

Interview The Winner   WOMEN
Emma ENGSTRAND (SWE)
"I had a good race and didn't make any mistakes. I felt in good running-condition. The terrain here is much softer than we are used in Sweden. I thought, the terrain would be even harder to run. The map and course were very good today, it was great fun."
Emma Engstrand is only 22 year young and she won the classic Swedish Championships in 1999. World-cup champion is one of her target this year. She wants to get more experiences from races abroad for the next year's World-Championships.
