Park World Tour 2004 in Nagoya

Welcome to the
5th Stage of the Park World Tour 2004

Aichi Orienteering Association and WOC2005 Organizing Committee
are pleased to invite runnners, media and guests to the 5th stage of Park World Tour 2004,
after five years from the last and the first PWT in Japan - the 6th stage in 1999 in Tokyo.

The race will take place in the Nagoya city of Aichi prefecture,
which is one of the major industrial cities in Japan,
where, in 2005, the World Expositon (EXPO2005) and
the World Orienteering Championships (WOC2005) will be held.

This event is one of the Pre-WOC2005 competition series,"Japan Challenge,"
with the world ranking event in the next day.
You will have the great opportunity to prepare for the WOC2005
by joining in this Park World Tour Nagoya and the WRE.

Punching and Time-keeping System
Emit's free punching control unit system will be used.
The start times will be taken using a gate start.
The finish times will be taken by means of photocells
when the runner's chest crosses the finish line.
The running times will be rounded down to the nearest 0.1 second.
