MONEY EXCHANGE


CONVINIENCE STORE

You can find convinient stores (or shortend as "con-vini" in Japanese), such as Seven-Eleven, Lowson, .etc, anywhere in the town. You can get almost anything (incl. postage stamps in some stores) except drug in these store, though the price is a bit expensive than supermarkets. Use wisely and make your stay convinient!

Note: Not all the staffs of convinience store speak English. So, be patient!


ALCOHOLE AND SMOKING

Drinking and smoking is prohibited to those under the age of 20.

Special Express trains (incl. Narita Express) have smoking seats, but other trains are completely non-smoking. Bus service does not have smoking seats.

The price of beer is 230 JP-Yen for 350mL and 290 JP-Yen for 500mL. There are many vending machine that serve beer, but vending machine sales is prohibited between 23:00 and 05:00. Drinking in public place (like park) is NOT prohibited.


BANKING

Banking hour is basically 0900-1500 on weekdays. ATM/CD is opening from 0830-1800 (some machine opens 0800-2100).

You can use CitiBank cash card in almost all bank's ATMs and CDs.
